The job duties include the following: managing software projects at design, development, implementation, product support and research level, applying knowledge of Java/J2EE, Oracle/SQL server databases, and Crystal Reports; managing software product development team of 6 IT professionals, including two Senior Software Engineers, two Software Engineers, a Quality Engineer and a Business Analyst. Management and supervisory duties involve application of knowledge of Java/ J2EE technologies, Oracle/SQL server databases and Crystal Reports.
Requires masters degree (or foreign degree evaluated as equivalent by US credentialing service) in computer science, management information science or related, plus two years experience in the job offered or as a software engineer or programmer/analyst. In the alternative, requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information science or a related field, plus five years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience in the job offered or as a software engineer or programmer/analyst. Experience must include at least two years experience in Java/J2EE technologies, Oracle/SQL server databases and Crystal Reports. Employer is willing to accept any suitable combination of education, training and experience. The position is 40 hours per week, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, at a salary of $81,474 per year. Software Project Manager (placement at West Chester Pennsylvania):
The job duties include the following: managing software projects at design, development, implementation, product support and research level, applying knowledge of Java/J2EE technologies, .Net technologies and SQL Server; managing software product development team of 10 IT professionals, including six Senior Software Engineers, two Software Engineers, and two Quality Engineers; managing both on-site and off-shore teams; traveling to Pakistan about once or twice per year to manage and train the off-shore team for a total of one or two months each year. The position is 40 hours per week, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at a salary of $79,331 per year.
