Job Description

We are looking for top technologists to develop back end applications and to integrate them with our Salesforce instance. You will be working with highly motivated and extremely talented engineers on backend services with quality, performance and scale in mind at every step of the way.   • Contributing to all aspects of the services under the team’s ownership, which includes design, implementation, refactoring, automated testing, deployment, and uptime of the services.
  • Responsible for configuration activities for and development of applications for Marketing, Sales and Customer Care teams
  • Analysis of 3rd party applications relevant to the Salesforce ecosystem for implementation suitability
  • Work with Salesforce team to manage release requirements and scheduling of solution specific activities within release process
  • Assist with functional releases in accordance with specific release management procedures, maintaining release documentation as required
  • Contribute to Test specifications, advising the Test Team on how and what to test. Supporting the Test Team in executing tests where appropriate
  • Support Solution and Development Management in the prioritization of bug and enhancement requests, and ensure that business users are kept informed on progress
  • Provide subject matter expertise on relevant solutions for new projects and solution design, and on relevant solutions to assist the support, development and testing teams in resolving system issues, performing necessary solution design, system setup and maintenance
  • Document new features and releases in accordance with accepted processes, guidelines and compliance requirements
  • Partnering with Business Stakeholders to prioritize and resolve support tasks efficiently, documenting routine solutions for knowledge share within the team and for handover to user community
  • Support users through user acceptance testing

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or related field or equivalent experience; graduate degree preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience providing Sales, Service and Community Cloud development and support on Salesforce platform
  • Strong Salesforce ecosystem knowledge and integration components (APIs, Apex controllers, Apex Web Services, data loaders, etc.) including performing multiple complex data migrations and integrations to Salesforce’s ActionGrid, developing macros, creating widgets, customizing console components and using Flow.
  • Experience with Visualforce, light HTML, Xactly, Apttus and other add-on tools.
  • Proven experience in the development and implementation of Salesforce based applications.
  • Thorough understanding of the Salesforce platform and expertise in workflow and validation rules, formulae, email mapping, reporting, permission sets, user setup, Knowledge, webforms, approvals, large-scale processes and user flows, etc.
  • Strong experience leveraging Process Builder, Flow, macros, widgets, and console components for customized workflows
  • Strong background in installing, configuring, and managing packages, e.g. ActionGrid, Distribution Engine, Xactly, Apttus (CLM, QTC), DocuSign, Cirrus, Eloqua, etc.
  • Must have strong experience in orgs that support multiple languages and multiple currencies
  • Functional understanding of the following applications: Apttus (CLM, QTC), Docusign, Cirrus Insight, Marketo, Eloqua, Distribution Engine, Xactly Incent, Workday/Peoplesoft
  • 3+ years of experience as a Senior SFDC Developer in a mid to large sized organization with focus on delivering an organizational transformation in a matrix-ed organization
  • Expert knowledge of Salesforce APIs, especially Canvas, and SOAP based web services to interact with developers and know how to apply these as part of a solution
  • Implementation expertise and practical experience working on large Salesforce projects involving complex integration with other systems
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
  • Ability to craft simple and elegant solutions to complex problems.
  • Knowledge of OAuth 2.0 authorization framework
  • Passionate about what you do and care deeply about the things you build.
  • Able to clearly communicate to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A good understanding of continuous delivery, writing unit tests and automated testing processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • In-depth understanding of Salesforce programming including Lightning, APEX,, and VisualForce
  • Salesforce certification in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Admin or others preferred
  • Exposure to media, advertising, or e-commerce salesforce implementations preferred
  • Experienced and conversant in key business functional areas such as ERP, CRM and SCM
  • Experience programming in at least one OO language
  • Experience with broad Salesforce app ecosystem
  • Experience working in an agile environment
